Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens
A world of sparkling fantasy and reality

This is guarded by the water-spouting head of a giant. Visitors are surprised, touched and perhaps even transformed by crystal in all its facets in the 17 Chambers of Wonder. The shop is accessible free of charge at all times.

In addition to the giant, the garden with its play tower and playground is a paradise for children. Enjoy the sparkle of the crystal clouds and savour seasonal cuisine in Daniel's Kristallwelten café and restaurant.

Silver mine in Schwaz
The gateway to the "Middle Ages experience"

The classic guided tour (duration 90 minutes) takes you through the harsh life of the Schwaz miners at the time of the silver rush and gives you an insight into the important role of Schwaz in the Middle Ages.

For our little ones, the children's tour tells the story of mining and gives an insight into the work and endeavours of the Schwaz miners according to the motto "Learning through play". The ride on the mine railway is particularly exciting.

The Wolfsklamm gorge in Stans
A very special natural spectacle

Wild and romantic rocky mountains, thundering waterfalls, emerald green water and a marvellous panorama. All this is the Wolfsklamm gorge. And all this in healthy mountain air creates an all-round unforgettable picture - a lasting impression.

With its 354 steps and wooden bridges, the Wolfsklamm gorge is one of the most beautiful in the Alps. A hike through the gorge is an experience. It's worth it - experiencing this natural spectacle up close in its original state.

Tratzberg Castle in Stans
A guided tour with Emperor Maximilian

Mighty yet enchantingly romantic, Tratzberg Castle sits on a rocky outcrop between Schwaz and Jenbach. An audio-visual adventure tour leads through the 500-year-old, originally furnished Renaissance castle.

Children discover the castle with an exciting fairytale tour at the same time as their parents. Travelling to the castle on the "Tratzberg Express" slow train is a special experience for young and old.

Lake Achensee
The sea of the Tyroleans

The region around Tyrol's largest lake is a true natural beauty. The best way to get to Lake Achensee is on the Achensee railway, which climbs the mountain with steam locomotives in summer. With over 100 years of service, it is one of the oldest steam locomotives in the world.

Once at the lake, a trip across the water is well worthwhile. The Achensee shipping fleet makes its rounds around the lake. From the landing stages, you can go on beautiful hikes, even with children.

Zillertalbahn in Jenbach
Full steam ahead

Feel the fire that brings the impressive steam locomotives to life. Smell the scent of coal, see bare metal - over 100 years old, moulded by human hands. The Zillertal steam train casts a spell over everyone.

Secure your window seat and speed through the world-famous Zillertal at 35 km/h. A visit to the Zillertal adventure dairy is also worthwhile. In addition to the show dairy, there is also a show farm.

Alpine Zoo in Innsbruck
Experience Alpine wildlife up close

No other zoo in the world has such a complete collection of wild animals from the Alpine region as the Alpenzoo. Located on an area of around 5 hectares above Innsbruck, around 2000 Alpine animals of around 150 species are kept here.

The zoo grounds are located on a slope and can be easily reached by the Hungerburg cable car. The valley station is at Congress Innsbruck. The combined ticket gives you favourable prices for parking and travelling by train.
